The Seattle Kraken have once again looked “North To The Future,” the state motto of Alaska. About 150 kids at the Anchorage Hockey Academy Summer Camp were joined on the ice this week by representatives of the team.

“We look forward to this trip every year,” Seattle Kraken development coach David Min told YourAlaskaLink.com. “This camp is awesome. There’s lots of energy inside the building and everything is great. We love coming here to support hockey and growing the game and continuing to grow fans.”

According to the site, “The camp serves children from a variety of age groups and provides an opportunity to stay active while continuing to develop hockey skills during the offseason. The program combines hockey instruction with activities including swimming, soccer, pickleball and Frisbee.”
But not, presumably, on the ice.
