How about a Canucks game summary, on the road Thursday night against the Florida Panthers:
Vancouver was leading 2-0 in the 3rd period, actually 51 minutes into the game, when this happened …
Goalie Leevi Meriläinen was in net for Vancouver. The Panthers pulled their netminder Akira Schmid for the extra attacker …
That forced overtime, where Brady Tkachuk completed a highly unlikely and rewarding natural hat trick …
The Canucks fell to 2-6-and-1 on the season and have lost all five games on their road trip. One remains; in Tampa on Saturday against the Lighting. The Bolts are 4-and-0 at home this season after their 4-3 OT win over the Seattle Kraken on Thursday night.
