Kraken Cup Odds
They’ve changed again. Now’s the time to place your bets if you’re a madhouse Kraken fan.
Since we posted a story a couple of days ago on the Vancouver site about the Canucks odds of winning the Stanley Cup this season, that included a reference to Seattle’s odds, they’ve changed again.
That’s bad news and good news for Seattle fans.
The good news is the Kraken are no longer tied for the worst odds in the league. The bad news is the number is actually worse than it was before. Seattle went from +10,000 to +22,500 to win the Stanley Cup. That’s on a $100 wager.
Yes, $100 would get you $22,500 if Seattle pulled off a minor miracle. One would have to place that wager before the season opener.
Earlier, Seattle, along with the Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose Sharks and Chicago Blackhawks were all +10,000. At this point, the Kraken’s odds of reaching the Final, now at +12,500, are even worse than what they were before to win it all.
We checked out the FanDuel site. Obviously there are plenty of others.
The other teams previously tied for biggest long shots with Seattle have slipped even further. The Penguins are now at +35,000 and the Sharks and Blackhawks are at +50,000. The quickly deteriorated Boston Bruins are tied with Seattle at +22,500.
The two favorites are the Carolina Hurricanes and the two-time defending champion Florida Panthers at +750.
