Canucks, Training Camp

Canucks A Month From Penticton

The Canucks will be well into training camp a month from now in the southern Okanagan town of Penticton for the second year in a row.

The sessions begin on September 18th and fans can garner early access information and a ticket link here.

The South Okanagan Events Centre is the proud host, appropriately boasting about the details on their website.

“Since 1974, the Canucks have held Training Camp in numerous communities across British Columbia, including Abbotsford, Courtenay, Duncan, Kamloops, Parksville, Powell River, Prince George, Vernon, Victoria, and Whistler. The team has also held Training Camp overseas once, travelling to Stockholm, Sweden in 2000.”

Also on the site, Vancouver President of Hockey Operations Jim Rutherford shared his excitement for the long weekend, a camp that wraps up on the 21st.

Apparently it’s rare to see a site host the proceedings in back-to-back years.

The Vancouver club will arrive with a tweaked line-up, a new head coach, and high hopes for a bounce-back season after the bizarre, mild disaster that was 2024-’25.
