Abby Canucks In Deciding Game Monday

The Abbotsford Canucks are in the deciding game of the Calder Cup playoffs Pacific Division finals on Monday afternoon against the Colorado Eagles in Loveland. The best-of-five series is tied at two games apiece.

Mark it down: the game is slated for a 3:05 pm start pacific time.

The Eagles stayed alive and forced Game-5 with a 3-1 victory on Friday night.

That, after the Canucks pulled off a 3-2 overtime win to take a 2-1 series lead two nights earlier. It was Linus Karlsson, with his fifth goal of the postseason, notching the game winner at 18:47 of OT on Wednesday.

Karlsson has eight points in the playoffs, second on the team to Sammy Blais who has 11.

The winner of the game will go on to face the Texas Stars in the best-of-7 Western Conference Final. The Stars took five games to eliminate the Milwaukee Admirals in the Central Division finals.

The Laval Rocket and the Charlotte Checkers are meeting in the Eastern Conference finals in a series that starts on Wednesday.
